A Seahawk departs an American carrier
An American military helicopter was trapped in thick fog over the Baltic Wednesday morning, and had to be directed by Swedish air traffic controllers to a safe landing in southern Sweden.
The Seahawk helicopter, with three people on board, was taking part in a NATO exercise when the pilot declared an emergency, and said he could not land on the intended NATO ship.
According to a Swedish air rescue spokesman, no one was hurt.
