Sport: Ready for Turin

In Bandy, Sweden face a tough World Championship semi-final against Finland in Stockholm this weekend after losing Wednesday night’s group match against Russia 5-4.

The Swedes had led the tournament favourites 4-1 at half-time, and will now have to make sure of victory against Norway on Thursday before Saturday’s semi with Finland, who’ve already beaten Sweden in their earlier group match.

Elsewhere in Sport,

Sweden has named its 108 strong squad for this month’s Winter Olympics which begins in Turin next week. Despite injury concerns, Ice Hockey star Peter Forsberg will travel to Italy with the squad.
