Swedish white goods giant Electrolux offered a deal to striking employees at the AEG-factory in Nuremberg, Germany which corresponded to two years wages. Some hours later, the union declined the offer.
Some 1,750 workers at the Nuremberg plant of the German electrical appliances maker AEG are on indefinite strike. They’re protesting plans by the group’s Swedish parent Electrolux to close the factory.
Talks resume on Saturday.
