Safer Internet Day

Tuesday is Safer Internet Day.

According to a press release from the Swedish Ministry of Education and Culture, the event is being marked in 36 countries, as part of the European Commission’s Safer Internet Programme. Activities here include a live chat with Education Minister Leif Pagrotsky on the popular online community Lunarstorm.

Swedish students are taking part in the Safe Internet Day Blogathon, a weblog where children and young people around the world are discussing how to make the Internet a safer place.
