Swedish Space Tourism?

One of the leading figures in the Swedish space program says space tourism should see its breakthrough in three or four years, and Kiruna in northern Sweden would be a good place to set up operations.

Sven Grahn, retiring Senior Vice President of Engineering at the Swedish Space Corporation, has spent four decades working with this country’s space program. He’s the only foreigner to be awarded a medal by the French aeronautics and space academy.

Grahn tells the TT news agency that Sweden should concentrate on bold space projects that can affect the political agenda. He cites areas such as climate research and surveillance and security issues.
