Bird Flu in Stockholm

Two swans in central Stockholm have been infected with the aggressive form of bird flu.

Restrictions have been put in place to prevent tame birds in the area from being infected but these restrictions are said to have little effect on people in the capital. No streets will be shut down or cordoned off.

Minister for Agriculture Ann-Christin Nykvist says that while the government is taking the find seriously, preparedness is good.
