High Oil Prices Not Due to Shortage

According to a new study the current high oil prices are not due to a shortage of petroleum.

The Swedish Energy Authority says for the next 30 years oil supplies will meet projected demand. According to the agency the cost of extracting oil will increase, but not significantly.

The energy authority attributes the current high oil prices to a problem in the market, rather than a supply shortage.
