Reduced Sentence for Descrimination of Gays

A Swedish court has reduced the sentence of a man sentenced in for discriminating against homosexuals on his website from 2 months to one.

This is the 2nd such case after a controversial Swedish supreme court decision aquiting a church minister sentenced to a month in jail for a sermon describing lesbians and gays as a cancer on society.

Critics maintain that these court decisions have destroyed the intention of the new law adding sexual orientation to anti-discrimination legislation.
