A Time For Celebration But Misery On The Roads

Traffic Chaos Expected In Great Holiday Exodus

Today, (Thursday) the day before midsummer eve, is one of the biggest days of the year for traffic on the roads.

Every year, police warn drivers to take care on the roads as the number of accidents increases tenfold.

A high number of road works across the country is set to add to the frustration.

It’s the same story on the water as well with thousands of people travelling by boat to various parties. Police say they’ll be out in force breathalysing those in boats as well as drivers in cars. There are also more speed cameras on the roads than ever before.
