Home Cancer Tests for Women

Published tisdag 4 juli 2006 kl 11.40

Following a new study, it’s been proposed that women here have access to home test kits for cancer.

The study, by researchers at Uppsala University Hospital, found that women who neglect regular gynaecological tests have a much greater chance of getting cancer.

Among those who were offered home test kits, one quarter carried a virus that leads to cancer of the cervix. Among women aged between 35 and 42 one-third were infected.
