Investigation into "serious" fault at power station

An investigation’s been launched at one of Sweden’s nuclear power stations after the most serious safety incident ever there.

A reactor at the Forsmark plant, north of Stockholm, shut down after an electricity fault, but two of the four generators which should have then kicked in to power safety systems failed to do so.

Computers were affected for about 20 minutes and the reactor has since been turned off while engineers try to work out what went wrong.
