Sweden Remains in Davis Cup World Group

Sweden has remained in the tennis Davis Cup World Group, as Robin Söderling defeated Brazil’s Flavio Saretta on Monday in three straight sets.

Sweden, a seven time Davis Cup champion, has been in the World Group for all but one year since 1981.

The tie away against Brazil was extended into Monday after Friday’s games in Belo Horizonte were rained out.
