Problems with Medium Wave Transmitter

Our medium wave transmitter in Sölvesborg, which we use to broadcast to Europe on 1179 kHz, is back on the air after technical problems Thursday and Friday.

While we are monitoring to make sure the control functions are working, the transmitter will be on the air continuously until Tuesday morning January 23.

During this time, besides Radio Sweden programs in various languages, we will also be relaying programs from the domestic P1 and P4 networks.
