A scientific radio program with Sweden´s largest audience for environmental news & feature

Vetenskapsradion Klotet (In English: Science radio - the Globe) is Swedish Radios environmental program. It is broadcast Wednesdays at 13:35, Thursdays at 19:03 and Sundays at 19:35 CET. The show is part of the wider science newsroom of Sweden´s non-commercial public service radio and reaches at least 10 % of Sweden´s population in a week.

Klotet stay in close contact with its listeners through Facebook, Twitter (@klotet) and its own blog feed on Swedish Radios website. We encourage our listeners to give feedback and contribute with ideas and suggestions to the show.

Since the first broadcast in 2009 Klotet has covered global warming, green tech, deforestation, aqua farming, overfishing, circular economy, pollution, renewable energy, acidification of the ocean, urban mining and many other topics of concern to all people on this planet.

Klotet is done by Johan Bergendorff (producer), Marie-Louise Kristola (host and social media) and Marcus Hansson (reporter). Pelle Zettersten (reporter) is on paternal leave until the end of 2014.
