Working class "invisible" on TV

1:56 min

Despite making up half of the population, an analysis of Swedish public service TV says that just five per cent of those seen on TV are working class.

Researcher Peter Jakobsson told Radio Sweden they had gone through 1,000 hours of TV and logged which professions were shown.

He's a researcher at Södertörn and one of the authors of this report, ordered by the trade union think-tank Katalys.
