1:17 min

On Thursday the European Commission presented its proposal for a new seven-year budget.

According to the Swedish Ministry of Finance's estimates, the Swedish EU fee, which today amounts to 40 billion kronor, may increase by as much as 35-40 percent if the budget is approved.

But Prime Minister Stefan Löfven told the Swedish Television News program Aktuellt that Sweden was one of several countries to find the proposal unacceptable.
